EQ stands for Emotional Quotient, or Emotional Intelligence.
Feeling frustrated, annoyed, or irritated by stupidity? These are emotions, and we all have them. Feeling lonely, invisible and hurt by unfairness? These are also emotions and we all have them. Experiencing discomfort but have no idea exactly what is going on or how to address it? Guess what, there are certainly emotions happening beneath the surface, and that is perfectly OK.
The point is that by building your EQ, you’ll be able to identify, process, communicate and overcome whatever upset is bothering you, both now and in the future.
As a direct result of actively increasing your EQ, you will be able to replace frustration and discomfort with a life force founded upon inner-peace and -strength. You will gain clarity into who you truly are and what you truly want. You will gain influence by improving the dignified ease with which you carry yourself.
Most importantly, by gaining Emotional Intelligence, you will become less controlled by emotions in general. This is a genuine way of taking the control of your life BACK from emotionality.
Lets get one thing straight: Emotions are not bad.
We are not seeking to push emotion down or avoid feelings so that we are not controlled by them. Instead, we are seeking to uncover hidden emotions so that we can process them in a healthy way and move on. We are unblocking whatever is standing in our way. Counter-intuitively, we are taking control by loosening our grip on control. By definition, this is something we all need help with. That’s where I step in.
